Kypse/2006 Cobalt Coupe/Central NY (Updated 09/03/11)

Hello everyone I'm a newbie here and thought I'd start a little build thread. I recently totaled my ION so I picked up an 06 Cobalt coupe. Transferred over my system. Eclipse Head unit, Rockford Fosgate 61/2 component in the front and Kenwood 6 1/2 coaxial in the rear. 2 10" subs in the trunk. Painted dash. I am about to pickup a Pacesetter header, Custom DP, and Tsudo Catback from my buddy. It will come together but very slow. Here is a couple photos. I'll add a little bit about me. It's always fun to meet people with the same car and go to meets! The names Mark. I am 19 years old and I'm currently working on my A&P ratings (Airframe and power plant which is for aviation maintenance). I'm taking a 1905 hour course at a local college which will make it easier to obtain my A&P certification. Once I obtain my ratings I will go for my IA (Inspection Authorization) which pretty much gives me the authority to do anything to the aircraft and return them to service.

INTERIOR
Painted Dash
LEDS under dash
Full Sound System:
-ECLIPSE HU, 6 1/2 ROCKFORD FOSGATE Front, 6 1/2 KENWOOD Rear with custom mounts, 2 10" SUBS

EXTERIOR
Night Shade Tails, 3rd Brake, and Side Markers

Performance
K&N Drop in

UPCOMING
Pacesetter Header
Custom DP
Tsudo Catback
CAI
Debage Trunk
De Wing?

ME:

Did some engine bay cleaning. Polished up the valve cover. Had to do an emergency intake mod due to a broken air channel box (I believe that's what it is called) I'm short on cash so I picked up a flex hose and made a temporary solution.

Added red LED lights under the dash and did the sharpie mod to the HVAC. sorry for the terrible photos

Night shaded the tails

hey mark, welcome aboard! i noticed you have sai, as far as im aware the pacesetter doesnt have support that system. could use it, but have to have the sai tuned out. if your not sure what that is search "secondary air injection"

nice work on the car so far btw!
