Then each race afterwards you will still need to check-in with your tech card at tech so you can be arm banded in.

We have 2 Volunteers who will be assisting in helping answer questions at the track. Prescott Phillips ( The Underdog Green Drag Beetle) will help with Pro Classes.
Jacob Bierer ( The Orange Grand Am) will help the the Super Classes Classes.

Top 5 Finalists for each category will receive Trophies and be invited to GLD's Year End Banquet Held in February of 2009.

Good Luck ! ! !

Too bad the snow keeps coming down, my ACR Neon is still in a barn 100 miles from here waiting for me to get it out and put in this pile of parts. Who here is going? I'm still debating what class I want to enter, either Super Mod off the bottle or Super Quick on the bottle.

I like Neons, somebody help me :(

It's this Sunday. The car I wanted to bring is still in a barn 100 miles from me, but for the time being I can throw my good head (once the machine shop is done with it) onto a stock bottom end and into a different car to run this weekend until I get it out of the barn. Won't be spraying the stock bottom end but will still hopefully run mid-high 13's. We'll see if I can get it together on Thursday

Anybody going? I will be, I have 3 other running Neons

Well we went, I drove my buddy's $400 winter beater with my engine in it and got knocked out of the first round in the Super Street (15.00 and slower) bracket. Best run was 15.4, not bad for a $300 car and $100 160k mile junkyard motor. Too bad we didn't get our bottles filled, spent all day Saturday hooking up the nitrous kits in both the Neons and didn't even get to spray once. I wanted to blow it up :(

Buddy got 1st in the Super Street bracket in his stock Neon running 16.2's all day. Won $200, so he came out ahead.

Next time we're bringing quicker cars, his turbo Neon and my nitrous Neon. Any Cobalts coming? It was mostly Hondas and VW's there, and a few Cavy's. It's May 25, 8 am-5 pm. Eliminations start around 1:30 again.
