stopped working

I have Gen 1 Spec-D halo headlights. I just noticed yesterday that my drivers side halo rings and LEDs stopped working on them. The actual headlight works perfectly fine though so I know it's not just the headlight in general. Can anyone explain to me what may be wrong?
