Hello, after a few days of heavy rain my 2009 cobalt decided to have some tech issues. Headlights were working, so I switched to my high beams which worked for a few minutes then stopped working. A day later while I was listening to the radio, went to ten the volume and it started acting up (changed channels and messed with the bass/treble). Not sure how to proceed, seems like a relay issue?

UPDATE: went to auto zone and checked my headlight fuses and they were normal

I own 2019 Chevy Cobalt and hence I feel I should be in better position to help you out.

2 quick steps I'd suggest you to follow:

1. Check Electrical wiring fittings behind your dashboard, this happened in my case.
2. Check the battery's condition. If it's more than 4 yrs old, dont put extra efforts of recharging it. Replacement of it should be the right choice.

Finally here's my Chevy Cobalt below ;) and let me tell you Chevy Cobalt can outperform some serious sports cars in performance if maintained properly. Here are some cars under 30000 which still lag behind Chevy Cobalt.
