Hey guys and gals. Haven't been on in a while. Been lurking every now and then. Still have my awesome Cobalt. Good news though. Just aquired an absolutely mint 2002 Camaro convertible. I got it from my sister for FREE! It has a blown motor and that's the only thing wrong with it. Otherwise, paint, body, interior is like factory. It's a V6 unfortunately, which is where I bring up my next question. Do you guys think it would be feasible to swap an LS1 in there with a 6 speed manual? I've looked it up and a lot of people say it isn't worth it. Only thing is, I got this car for free so I can basically drop at least 6K into it.
Opinons and more questions are welcome! Car has 55k on the odo.

If it's your dream go for it. If your not going to keep it, it would probably sell better if it had a V8

V6 turbo with a lot of boost would be about the same HP numbers as the ls1 could be a lot of fun but won't have the v8 sound
