It was over 90 degrees over memorial day weekend and I couldn’t open the driver window for three days. Today it’s 85 degrees and I can open it. Does anyone else have this problem? I’ve owned this car since 2006.
Not sure about the Cobalt but I have worked on other cars - there is a thermal switch in the motor - when they get hot they open shutting off the motor to help protect the motor against burn outs - when they cool off the motor works again - over time the bi-metal on the switches weakens and they trip at lower and lower temperatures - not saying for sure this is it - but its what I would look at first especially if the other windows work
