I have changed out the shocks/struts and it still doesn’t seem to have helped it. Any time I go over a divot or bump in the road, it’s really loud and feels as though the car isn’t absorbing any of the impact. So it almost feels as though I have no suspension. My feeling is that it could be that the control arms have gone bad. Has anyone had this problem or know what the fix is for it?

I had the same issue! I replaced both control arms and tie rods since alignment would be needed after control arms. Rides so smooth now. ??

I bought the rid ends first. Then checked inners and replaced inners. Helped out so much. Try rock auto for parts.

Tie rods don't affect your suspension, if you car is riding rough you want to look at suspension components. Struts/shocks, springs, control arms, are your main suspension components that affect the ride feeling.
