I was wondering how I would convert the back lights on the cobalt. In my case I did install an LED light but they hyperflash. I tried a Load Resistor but occasionally the back turn lights would not blink. I have not replaced the main break lights in the back just the turn signal lights.

Is there a proper way I can convert the lights? I looked at HID but the problem was they dont have anything it seemed like for the rear lights.

Or I guess is there a better light bulb alternative for the rear I can use that will last for about the same life as an led or such but work properly?

As far as the bulbs go, I have installed leds into the tail lights and headlights. I used Sylvania Zevo bulbs and installed a resistor into each turn signal bulb. No hyper flashing. The headlights didn’t need resistors to work. I know some cars will cause the headlights to flash.

Cheap bulbs can cause problems. So can using a resistor that is too high wattage equivalent. Could be hooked up incorrectly also. Also hids will only be for the headlight bulbs. I used leds in the headlights but did my research before buying them.
