Okay so my buddy brought his 2005 Cobalt LS Sedan over to my house thinking I may know whats up...

Well I have been lucky and haven't had any older vehicles with high mileage,

The car has 150,000 miles on it. It's in pretty rough condition.
Problem #1 - When the car is idling it almost dies. For instance he started the car, then it almost died out after the initial start up rev.

I took out the MAF Sensor, it was clean so I don't know.

Problem #2

The passenger foot well is full of a/c condensation...

I know it has nothing to do with the condensation but I checked the cabin air filter, and it is TOTALLY black, meaning that the car was not maintained.

he's getting a total tune up, and it may be better. IDK how long the oil has been ran and if it would be a contributor to the idling problem.

I don't know much about how A/C works soooo I'm clueless as to what the problem is with the leak.

Thanks for your help in advance

Swap the MAF with yours and see if that helps...i'd also clean the throttle body incase the blade is sticking.

Pass floor board usually means leaking heater core
