On the information center when it displays your tire pressure, does the FR and FL meaning front left and front right tires, does it mean from inside the cabin or facing towards the vehicle?

It does sound like a dumb question, but it depends on what your looking at. On mine it shows FR 37 FL 35, RR 35 RL 35..I was thinking of making them 34psi all around so it will help me out on tread life. Its on generic tires since the car is only 3 weeks old for me.

Thanks.

Thanks MP81. I know it sounds dumb, but you never know until you do it. That TPMS is off BTW by 2 psi, lol.

No problem.

And yeah, I wouldn't doubt that they're not exact.

Meh, it could just be discrepancies.

As someone said, the left side is driver side, however, if the tires get rotated I'm almost sure the owners book has steps to take for the system to re-learn which tire is where.

Well, there's no physical connection to the tire pressure sensor (as that would lead to a crazy wiring mess), I think it just goes based on the receiver's location.

But I could be entirely wrong, I don't have them.

It displays it as the way you would see it when you are sitting in the drivers seat.
