Okay, so my antennae was stolen. I mean, it was ripped out of the body, and the wire was cut. So I want to get a new antennae, but am not sure how to deal with the wiring. I'm looking at replacements but they're showing a long wire that looks like it might go to the radio? Is there a "port" in the rear of the car that I can go locate and take out my now cut wire, and just plug the new one in? Or do I need to splice and solder...?

Its a 2006 Cobalt LS.

You are going to need a new mount, rubber antenna bezel, mast and the antenna wire. The long wire they are showing runs from your trunk up to the passenger side of the dash where it connects to the dash portion of the antenna wire. If you pop off the dash end cap on the passenger side, you'll see a yellow air bag connector and the antenna connector.
