Okay, so I had the door locking/unlocking on its own issue last year. This caused my alarm to arm and when I opened the door the alarm would go off. I took the door lock fuse out to stop them from going crazy.

Periodically, and pretty regularly now (daily), when I close my door (locked or unlocked), the yellow lock thing will appear on the dash and blink. When I come back to open the door, boom, my horn will honk. If I open any other door the full alarm will go off. I have to jump in and turn the ignition to make it stop. Very annoying and embarrassing.

Sooo, how to I disable the entire alarm/theft-deterrent system? Is there just a fuse? Do I need to pay a mechanic $80/hour to do it? I don't want it anymore. I'm tired of feeling like a criminal when I open MY OWN car...

Instead of disabling it or by-passing it, have you thought of fixing it or getting it fixed.
