As a mechanic, I would suggest getting two matching tires (new: one for the right and one for the rear) so you have even wear on all of them; the tires won't have uneven wear due to one tire with 12/32's of tread and the rest with 5/32's of tread. Get an alignment check/fix and replace any bent rims or possible loose parts (tire rods, ball joints). That's my opinion, but none of my customers seem to think its a good idea. It's not like I've been in a shop for 15 out of my 21 years of life.
Hello guys, so there's an independant car dealer selling a 2010 turbocharged cobalt with 79k miles on it for only 3.4k USD. Considering the price and the general looks of the car (it's neat, no rust and looks well maintened from what i can see in the pictures, for the body at least). Thing is...
I have a 2009 Chevy Cobalt. I need a fuel tank sending unit that GM discontinued. Where can I get this part? I live in NJ and nobody has it including junk yards. Called 3 dealers and told me to look in junk yard. I am at my wits end. Please help me.
car has a strong gas odor after it has been parked and i see that there was a recall for the fuel pump module because the plastic lines were cracking. is that recall still open? Bulletin # 09226. car has less than 100,000 miles.
