I have a 06 cobalt non turbo 5 speed.
That throws blue smoke when it stays idle to long at a light but then it will go away as soon as the gas is pressed or doesn’t stay stopped for to long.the car has 157k miles.
There’s sometimes oil in the intake where the valve cover breather tube is at.(think it might be the breather tube)

Sounds kinda like valve stem seals. A leak down test can be performed. Can be remedied with some new seals. But usually needs to go to a machine shop to be gone through. Hopefully not the piston rings. My ‘06 burns a bit of oil. Not smoking though. But will have spot on the exhaust tips if I don’t wash it for like a month.
