I'm thinking about picking up an 08 cobalt sport from a dealership here in town but I just have a quick question. I have a set of wheels from my 03 Impala ss that I'm trading in but they're 16s. However, they're dual drilled so they have both a 5x115 and 5x110 bolt pattern. The rims on the Cobalt are in rough shape (I live in Michigan so salt damage and it's obvious they've been curbed) so my question is: would the 16 inch wheels fit on the Cobalt or are the brakes bigger than on the lt? Thanks for any help.

As far as I know, the SS/NA (renamed to Sport in 2008) shared the same brakes as the SS/SC, and a 16" wheel was the smallest that fits. So it's possible that they may fit, but I'd try test fitting them to see if they clear the calipers.

I'm assuming they're aftermarket wheels, so you'll probably want to get a set of hubcentric spacers since the hub size on aftermarket wheels is generally pretty large - much larger than the Cobalt's hub size.
