I've heard you can get an hhr ss tranny and ive heard that zzp can build you one but what other kind of options are there? as much as ive learned about my car Im still in the dark about a built trans its like theres no market for it?

wonder what fmsr's level II trans would hold up to? I mean other than the trans the only thing holding me back from some extreme horsepower is a stock block but im kinda stuck and cant afford a better block let alone sleeves

im 9k into my build right now and technically havent even herd it run yet

treadstone exhaust kit, precision turbo and treadstone turbo kit alone was 4k

all my internals including cams, lowering springs, mounts and all other supporting mods made another 4k and now I have to pay a machine shop a little more than 150 to check the head, install springs, and maybe more if there is damage. and im getting ccss3 from ************* to help me build the motor so thats gonna be another lump of change. but this is counting out literally every dime im putting into the build. I even bought all new zinc coated drilled and slotted rotors cuz my back rotors were pita and we all know they gotta match lol anyhow it adds up way to quickly :notrust:

I went with the 5858 turbo cuz I want to make 450whp with ease and now im just like ok well thats not even maxing the turbo out and ive thought about going with a girdled block and safely making upwards of 550whp

mainly im scared to surpass 450 without a girdled block but its only cuz I plan to daily drive it and not worry about a catastrophic break down....
