After getting my "new" used leather wheel installed today in my 09 Cobalt, with the cruise control and audio switches, we tried to get a very high end snap on diagnostic tool to enable the cruise (which the car didn't have).. We failed. LOL The owner of it wasn't even sure what features it has as he mainly uses it just for diagnostics for his 16 or so vehicle fleet of taxis and limos....

I am not sure what model the Snap On is, but have the offer to use it anytime to turn on the cruise for free if it can be done at all?

Has anyone any real life experience with doing this, that they can explain the procedure so I can try it tomorrow? I can get a GM mechanic to turn it on next week with a tech 2 but who wants to pay when I can get it done for free LOL

As for the installation the cruise on button lights up, and the info and return buttons work. The audio switches all work great.

Thanks in advance.
