So I have been looking for Catback systems to start with then go from there up on the exhaust. Why is it that the 2.0l and 2.4l are different then the 2.2 I can understand the header because of the SAI but why the catback part?

On top of the differences in listings, I saw the 2.2l catback systems are relatively cheap 250$ shipped but the 2.0 and 2.4 are 500$ and up.... obviously the manufacturer matters as well.

they are not diff except some market to diff models as the pipe size can differ due to amnt of power

you can order any cobalt catback though

I would suggest a clear image auto setup, def the best craftsmanship and sound out there :)

um, idk what the stock is but 2.5 is prolly the biggest you should ever go unless you're going to do one sick turbo set up.

I have 3", but i have a 2.5" downpipe and muffler to create "backpressure"

2.5" is big enough unless you want a deaper tone (like i did) or are going high in hp

The only echausts that will not work for you are the exhausts for the SS/TC. The reason being that they use a 3 bolt flange on the DP/catback connection. 2.2, 2.4 & the 2.0/SC all use a 2 bolt flange.
