Hey All,

I'm getting a clunk/grind when going into reverse in the _very_ cold mornings.

Clutch is in fully (foot through the floor practically), but it still clunk/grinds.

I live up in Canada so this is a question for those in the very northen states or Canada.

I have an 08 Cobalt LT and was wondering if anyone else has heard of this?

Thanks.

Apparently from what I have been reading is that these trannys in our cars are infamous for clunking moreso into 2,3,4. Mine always does it into 4th now no matter how slow you shift, used to do it into 3 and it might have grinded into second as well.

Syncros already replaced

Already had my syncro's replaced @ 1300 kms...

And yes, it was 3rd->4th or 5->4th

But now the clunk does not happen in any other gears, just reverse when it is very cold out.

I guess its back to the dealers....
