I have a 2005 cobalt ss supercharged. I recently pulled on a dead end road. Snow out so I cleared off my rear window and got back in. And me being stressed out I for the gear into reverse while pressing the brake instead of the clutch. It’s driving fine. I get to a straight away and throw it in third and hit about 3200 rpms and the car hard bucks. I tried it a couple times after and got the same result. Could this be because it’s wet outside or an engine issue?

Hard to say. Do you get any codes setting? Check engine light? Map sensor can cause funky issues. So can vacuum leaks. I’d assume a charge hose that’s loose would be obvious, making noise and low power. Worth a look though to make sure.

Other things coming to mind are fuel pressure. That engine would be more sensitive to fuel pressure being incorrect. I’d also have a look at what the fuel pressure is at idle and while at higher rpms.
