I recently had to take my 08 to a "reputable" auto shop to have the heater core replaced. turned out to be a 12 hour job requiring the entire dash to be removed along with the front seats! :|
when I picked up my car the heater worked great except it doesn't seem to have any heat going to the floor as if there was something blocking it.
on my way home I tried to set my cruise control. orange light above cruise on/off is on but cruise wont set. the button to cycle through my mileage, psi, rad temp, etc wont work. its got to be a wiring issue but I don't understand why that got messed with.
is it an easy fix?

Looks like your reputable shop screwed up in multiple areas. Ask them if they disconnected the battery before dismantling the dash!!!

Looks like F9 of C4. C4 is on the back of the BCM on the driver's side.
