40,000 miles, 2010 cobalt LT (january 2010). Time to drain coolant and put in new coolant? Maybe a year late?

40k on coolant isn't a lot, is the coolant discoloured?

No, Coby, its still pinkish/redish, at least, in the plastic reservoir. Does it turn a different color if its bad/old?

I haven't yet added the Cobalt to my operating "fleet" but before I do, I'll take a multimeter and check the coolant. If it checks out to be good, I think I'll just drive the car with coolant as is for a while.

Very interesting, gremlin. I just posted a reply to that link regarding voltage readings, although, I just learned of this method. The V test may (not 100% sure) needs more fine tuning regarding temp at which it is taken.
