Checked my coolant today and it was a little low, so I went to add a little more. I went to the autostore to get the GM certified Dex-Cool made by Prestone, and added a little to the reservoir (or whatever you call it). I had only added a splash, but quickly realized that the coolant in the tank was pink, while the Dex-Cool from the auto store was an orange color. The car is currently driving fine and I don't smell anything unusual, and the coolant is operating at its normal temperature. With that being said, is it possible for me to have messed anything up by slightly mixing the colors?

its pink from the factory to attract female buyers
It's the ***** magnet.

And yeah, that Prestone stuff is fine, as long as it's the Dexcool. It's what I use...but it's not orange, it's definitely pinkish.
