I have small areas under my rocker panel where the pinch welds are where paint was chipped do to improper lifting. These areas are exhibiting slight surface rust. Since its the dead of winter and I have no garage, I I'm simply looking for a solution that will just slow rusting until I can do actuall sanding/cleaning and touch up this spring. Will dielectric silicone grease work? I heard putting any type of grease or oil or wax will slow down corrosion. I have wax but I happen to have that spray on dielectric which would be easier to apply. Will this help?
