I purchased a new replacement drivers side mirror (power)- I know that it is held on by 3 bolts. How do I get to these bolts. Does the mirror plug in or does the wire need to run all the way to the switch? any help would be great.

You just need to remove the door panel. There are a couple of screws in the pull handle and a couple in the hold. There are also a couple little plastic, tabbed rivets that you pop out of the door panel. Once it's off, you'll see the screws for the mirror assembly as well as the electrical connector for the mirror. It's just tucked behind the plastic water shield.

Someone will beat me to the punch with a diagram, I'm sure! Also, welcome!

be careful with the door rivets ,....they are impossible to find and its really annoying having lift your door ever time you open or shut it ...took me a month before i could find new ones to fit....had to order them off ebay as all the dorman connectors were out of date and way too small...ended up trying the ones meant for fords as a last resort because they were the widest ,...but they still managed to come off lol:push:
