ok 2006 Cobalt 2.2 liter w/ 65,000 miles...When i start my car, ive been getting this slight shaking feeling for like the first couple seconds. it feels like the engine is gettin ready to cut off, but then it smooths out. Also ive been noticing that whenever i operate the steering wheel, the headlights dim. could this be a battery issue or alternator issue?...Also today i started the car and at idle it wouldnt stop shaking. it felt like it was hesitating and getting ready to shut off and the check engine light was flashing. after about 20min the idle smoothed out and everything felt normal, yet i had a solid check engine instead of flashing. i havent had a chance to pull any codes yet but when i do i will post them... a few months ago, i pulled a code, but i dont remember it. it had something to do with the knock sensor...

sounds like engine misfire sir. maybe the spark plugs are fouled or your having a cylinder issue. but i definately feel as if when you pull the code its gunna be p0300. Have you checked all your fuel injectors and such to make sure they are still working aswell?

if the engine is sputtering having a hard time keeping itself moving i'm sure it's throwing some timing at low rpm. seems normal to me. any misfire codes? i know you said thats it but idk...doesnt make all that much sense to me.

it was sputtering yesterday morning for like 20min then it stopped and everything was normal except for the check engine light... idk... i'll clean the TB and MAF sensor and try installing a new knock sensor. could be the injectors or bad fuel...

lights dimming when wheel is turned is unrelated. due to current draw from power steering motor (electric) get the recall if you havent already
