So im trying to supercharge my 2008 pontiac g5 with 2.2 but i knowvin 08 they made the rods weakeran what not but the build date on my block or serial number states it was built in 2007 so does that mean i have the stronger version rods or internals or are they the weaker internals

I'm like 99% sure you've got the weaker internals. However, it's still safe to supercharge as long as you don't go crazy on boost & shift points. Leave your redline where it is, and probably don't go smaller than a 3.1" pulley if you're using the Eaton M62 supercharger, and you'll be fine.

It also didn't like that you raised the shift point so much

Just for reference, I've been SC'd on a 3.1" pulley for a few months now, and I haven't blown up yet.
