I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LS two door with approx. 169,000 miles on it. It's never had anything more than standard normal wear and tear issues, but for the past six months to a year something underneath the hood shudders/vibrates when I'm accelerating or driving at an even speed (doesn't happen when I decelerate). I have talked with my mechanics about it and they say they don't notice anything, but haven't actually taken it out on the road to replicate the issue. They advised there are no leaks and nothing that looks to be a problem. I feel the vibration/shudder in my gas pedal when I'm driving, and it's so bad that it almost shudders violently at times, to the point that I wonder if the car is going to break down. Does anyone know what could be causing this, or has anyone had a similar issue?

Thanks for listening/reading!
