Hey all, brand new here and glad to have found this website! My girlfriend has a 2007 cobalt LS (382XX miles). The car has been good up untill tonight when the power steering went out. I've been doing some research and have come to find the EPS motor is the culprit and needs to be replaced. I read on another forum that the job is relaitively simple to do (for someone with moderate mechanics skills or above). What I want to know is if you can do the job (removing the air bag assembly, steering wheel, coloum, and motor) without any special tools including a wheel puller, or did our friends at GM make it a "must own our $250 dollar bolt remover" job? I appreciate any help on the matter thanks in advance!
