I have been looking into exhaust systems a little bit and found the Tsudo N1 exhaust which sounds great IMO and the price is unbeatable! It's either that or a magnaflow muffler, would I gain a lot more by purchasing the Tsudo N1 exhaust?

a muffler won't do much for you besides sound, the best way to gain any sort of power from a 2.2 is doing a 2.4 intake manifold,header,cat-back,SRI,and new downpipe.A cat-back helps out,but you will be restricted still.

I have the Tsudo...
The hp gain is only noticable at 2500RPM and its not that much but the sound is great
I'm glad I invested in my Tsudo =)

I would not think there would be real gains until you swap your header and DP too. otherwise you have no real change in back pressure on your engine.

correct, yer not gunna gain any HUGE numbers until u replace yer header, downpipe, cat, and THEN do a catback system...

then ull feel a nice increase

Ive heard even with FI, you still dont need to go 3", ive been told that 2.75 is optimal for FI. Im going with 2.5 on my exhaust. Any reccomendations on Headers and DP???? That would help aswell.. Also where did you purchase that exhaust from????

I haven't ordered any of them yet but I found that racing solutions and zz performance has good deals on header/downpipe combos

If it is still a choice between one or the other, go with the tsudo, it sounds great and I noticed a little gain (combined with me k/n sri) But like everyone here has pointed out the best gains will be with a full exhaust.
