So I know its been brought up 1000 times but I want an exhaust that's relatively close to stock sound when at idle and loud when I punch it .. I heard a GMPP and it was a sexy sound ! I'm just wondering if the ZZP matches close to that and if its possibly a little quieter at idle ? Not to mention I have a shorty header , and 2.5" downpipe I'll be putting in with the exhaust .. Thanks !

Honestly, it all depends on preference.

I'm not sure how much rasp you can handle, but the SS/TC exhaust has a fantastic idle, and the WOT sound is extremely loud, and raspy. If I'm in an area with buildings, you can't hear the blower over the echo of the exhaust.

Just buy GMPP. You won't regret it. 2.25" catback on an N/A car is perfect.

Thanks boys , surely appreciate everything and I will go with gmpp .. I'd prefer no rasp at all but if I have to I'll add a resonator

Yep, go with the GMPP. That's probably the lowest rasp you'll find.

Even with my giant magnaflow resonator, mine still has plenty of rasp. Oh well, it is an I4, after all.

Well I have an SS/TC exhaust, which is essentially like having no muffler at all at WOT.

The GMPP is a very good sounding system.

I'd assume you can find a used one for a bit cheaper...but quite honestly, I don't see them that often - people hold onto them. But if you can find one, grab it!

Catted down pipe? Otherwise even the GMPP will sound raspy and bad.

I live in Arizona so I need a cat , I want to get the ZZP 400 cell downpipe and a local guy is selling his GMPP as he is going back to stock but he wants 500 for it used :/
