some actual progress has been made and I will have the car back in a couple days. The body guy has been taking his sweet ass time with her but she is just about done. There will be a silver pin stripe added between the 2 colors. The door jams will also be getting 2 toned, but something with the way the paint cures it will have to wait about a week. At least I will get to have her during that time. Here are some pics of my baby.

I will have the car back for awhile on Monday hopefully so I will take some full body shots and post them up. Will also post final pin stripe and jam pics when done. Let me know what you think

I forgot to mention it will have a Zen front bumper & N1 skirts and rear for all that didn't already know. They are being painted separately and then put on after.

He is kind of a friend of mine and gives me and the guys in my car club a pretty good discount. Im having him refinish my CF hood, fit and install body kit, 2 tone the outside, add a pin stripe, and 2 tone the jams and carry the pin stripe inside as well. The worst had to be the fitment of the kit. The rear bumper had to be cut in half and about a half inch of glass added. Front bumper the headlight and grille area gave him the most trouble. Not sure what retail cost would have been on this job but he only charged me $1750 ($250 deductible + $1500). $950 came from the insurance company to "replace" my hood, so I only paid $800 out of pocket.

Thanks for all the great comments. I went up to the shop today and actually saw the car in person. It looks 10X better than the pics. The orange really pops out against the black and makes it look like a totally new color I have not seen before. I think it makes the copper color of the paint show more. The bumpers were going to get sanded and hopefully painted today. Have not heard what actually got accomplished. It was extremely hot out today so not sure if that may have hindered anything.

I like...
I want to do something like this but with a black car and a little red here and there I don't think it would turn out good for me lol

Here are a couple of pics I took while I was at the shop today. The bumpers are still being worked on so no real new progress to report. I got a couple different angles and areas people were talking about. Enjoy

The masking job looks real nice from what I can tell in the pics. The only thing I question is why didn't he remove the antenna? it would be best to remove the base and all.
