so ill be getting a cobalt in the next few days. I have a flo master super 44 muffler sitting in my room nevrr used. Anyone have one on thier cobalt? Sound? Performence? Thanks guys!

Performance mufflers

seems a little large, but I cannot imagine why it'd sound bad. It seems like its nice, deep, but not too loud. at least in the demo vid (which is a totally different car, so I could see why you'd be unsure)

if you do it be sure to post up some clips!

good luck and hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.

Ill be sure too when its on. Ill check out youtube as well. The muffler isnt thst big just the iinlet size is 2.50 so a bit big have to custom something

It's called a pipe crimper...every decent exhaust shop will have one...and I'm not talking about your local Midas.

I have the Flowmaster 60 series right now, gotta say i love it and have got many complements on it. I say go for it my next set up will be a custom 2.25 catback into a Super 44.

i ive had a 44 befor it only souned good when at full throtle honestly id buy a 60 series like i ended up doing they sound much better throughout the entire rpm range

Never been a fan of Blowmaster tho. ]
You just have to get the right Flowmaster for the small displacement motor, the super 44 is meant for muscle cars. I take back what i said I probably wont get a Super 44 with my next set up, maybe the SLP catback

I've like Borla's on these as long as they are catted and resonated...I also did the stock cat/resonator with a muffler delete and if it wasn't for the drone I'd still be rocking it...it sounded pretty decent IMO.
