Okay guys and girls, I know this is a cobalt site but I have had this thing for sale on another forum and wanted to try this one.

Up for sale is a 1991 Eagle Talon TSI FWD. The motor in this vehicle runs really strong and is on stock boost, which is 10 psi. The motor has approximately 135,6xx miles on it and still runs strong. The body is rust free and has been fixed by the previous owner. The motor has no mods done to it aside from an intake and other maintanence things that have been upgraded. The interior is clean and has no rips or tears. The headliner however would need to be fixed it hung down a little bit but again was fixed by the previous owner.

The mods and maintanence things that are done to the vehicle are as follows:

Greddy Turbo Timer
has brand new ngk plugs and wires
new air filter
new oil catch can inline filter
shifter bushings under the hood and inside the car
kyb struts on megan racing springs (which rides surprisingly nice)
megan racing front and rear strut bars
brand new struts for the hatch!
brand new silverstar headlights
newer gauge cluster that got rid of the reverse glow gauges.
clear corners (comes with the original ones as well)
new valve cover and gasket and pcv
new oil cap
autometer c2 boost and a/f gauges in apillar

I will get pics later tonight if not tomorrow and post them. I am willing to meet people for pickup and drive the vehicle to a certain point. The color is black with a silver bottom for the vehicle color

Asking price is 2300 obo.

oh that's cool. it's only two weeks old though. I'm trying to decide if i want to wait until my warranty is up and turbo mine or buy an older turbo car to play around with.

well i got the extended warranty because when i got the car that was the cheapest one they offered and i didn't know i didn't have to get one of those at all. I'm at 30,000 now and it's not over until 72,000 unless i can sell my warranty back or something. I know i would hit 72,000 before 6 years.

I would say do supporting mods to your car and build up parts for a turbo build and wait to get closer to the end of your warranty and build up your motor and such with exhaust and intake and what not. Then after you get all your parts build the car and screw the warranty.

I already have exhaust and intake. Once the warranty is about up i'm going to get pistons and rods and maybe cams before turbo. The car will be paid off in a year from October so that should help with cash flow and in a year i will be getting the second half of my enlistment bonus. I'm also trying to decide if i just wanna buy a kit or start piecing my own kit together.
