When the people as a whole sit back and let things like this happen, because they wish not to get involved or I'll just pay it attitude,,, this will keep happening and they are to blame.
When the people as a whole, have "had enough" and say no, things WILL change...
My wonderful elderly Dad, kind of grinned when gas went to $4.00 a gallon and said.. what to make that (price) come down??.... Just don't buy it! And America didn't and it dropped extremely fast!
Same principal... different tactic!

that's a good plan, problem is if you could get every consumer in the country to agree to stop buying gas (which is very tough, as gas prices have such a hold on the world's economy), then we would be on the borderline of world peace. That would be nice, but both are very unlikely.
Many people here have tried to make facebook pages, have like hundreds of thousands of people join and stop buying gas. I have not seen any change. People cannot come together like that. It sucks but for now that's the way it is, and unless the world changes its ways and finds a way to agree we'll keep destroying the world and ourselves. Don't mean to be all dark and apocalyptic but it's the way I see it for now.

Yeahhhh NY sucks lol. Well long island and NYC atleast.

I was in manhtten the other day. A pack of newport cigarettes were 10$! And Mcdonalds doesnt have a dollar menu in Manhatten lol, they have a $1.39 menu. Everything is so much more money.

My parents house i think they pay 11,000 a year in taxes for it! thats just insane. i have a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom house with a livng room and kitchen. its really not that big and its on a piece of property thats like 45 by 60. The bank appraised my house at $800,000. WTF. my aunts house upstate new york is a 2 family house costed $90,000 with like an acre of property.

NEW York is great, i love it here, but its to damn expensive. ive been looking into getting a 1room basement apartment.... i cant find one for less then 1000 a month.

Michigan sucks with the highest unemployment in the US but we still have a dollar menu and housing is cheaper. You can probably buy a house in Detroit for what you'd pay for a few months rent on the basement apartment in NY.

k well first off william745, didn't understand the last half of what you were saying for the life of me.

Second, where i live in Quebec, if you make yearly salary over the poverty line (i think it's around $25 000-30 000 CAD), you get taxed about 45% of your yearly income. If you make like over $100 000 a year they take 55% or more of your yearly salary. And everything here, including food etc. is taxed at a rate of 13.5% (which was lowered last year from 15% BTW). licensing and insurance premiums and registration charges up the ass every year too if you own a car. Public transit is expensive, electricity is getting worse even though most of our power is being sold to you guys in the US...it's nuts. PLUS it gets f*cking cold here in the winter.

Oh, and our 'dollar menu' at mcdonalds is called a 'McValue' meal, and instead of $1 for a burger it's just under $2. maybe like $1.87 or something, it just went up again.
Sux doesnt it!

oh anyone wants info on medicare hit me up i know theyre thinkin bout implementing it there in the US. just pm me or ill start a thread loool

peace guyz keep the complaints comin'
