Has anybody here done the G5 grille swap on a Cobalt? Any pics? I don't like the idea of driving around with the Pontiac logo on a Cobalt and I'm not sure how the grille would look with the logo removed and filled.

You have to replace the whole front nose. Check out my profile for pics. I do, however, have an aftermarket nose on mine.

all you have to do is cut out the middle bar that runs in the cobalt grille.

and then the G5 grill peices will fit right in.

The bumpers are the same. (basically)

On a coupe I do not think that it would really be worthwhile, it would just look exactly like every other G5 onthe road. But on a sedan, that is different, they only marketed the sedan G5 in Canada.

Op has a cobalt with a g5 grille boss so there isn't no bar to cut

I'd take off the Pontiac grille and get the chrome grill from gm. There done. Lol
