Anyone else hate nails with a passion? Like carpentry nails, masonry nails, etc.

Anyone else hate when you end up with a nail in your brand new tires?

I know I do, I'm mourning for my passenger side rear Pirelli P4 with a damn concrete nail sitting inside the water tread well. Hopefully Discount Tire will honor their certificate replacement for free repairs.

But seriously, does anyone else have this problem? My family seems cursed with it. Sister punctured a tire after she bought her Ford Ranger about ten minutes after leaving the lot, dad's BMW Z4 picked up a couple nails after he dropped close to $1,000 on Michelin Pilot Sports, mom's Pontiac Grand Prix has gone through a few blow outs (sister was learning to drive o_O) but no punctures right after new tires... cars that she's owned before that, have.

Feel free to share any stories you have about buying a new set of tires, and then needing to get them repaired within a month of purchase.
