I'm getting ready to sell my mother's 2007 Cobalt sedan. A couple of years ago, it had a problem where it would intermittently get stuck in park so I had that fixed - I thought. Yesterday I went out to move the car so I could take pictures of it for the ad and it was stuck in park again! I was eventually able to get it shifted - it seems to be a "if you hold your mouth a certain way" kind of problem. But I'm reluctant to try to sell it when I know of an issue it has. The original guy that serviced it was in Okla and the car is now in GA where I live, so I can't take it back to the first man. Any ideas about what this car might need that the first guy missed? Or is it possible that whatever part he put in a couple of years ago has just gone bad again? And most importantly - any idea what all of this may cost?
