I slid in under the wire with "cash for clunkers" and got a new Cobalt LS Xfe.
Its Summit White, and I love the manual transmission. 37 MPG on the hwy will be nice, too. I'm 38 and work as a preacher in a small town in SW Arkansas. Here is a picture of it on the lot, with my place of work in the background.

Nice. Congrats on the purchase. There are alot of people here that are very good with answering the most complicated of auto questions you can throw at us and you have made a great decision on the forum you have chosen. Enjoy your stay.

What did you trade to get the XFE by the way?

I traded a worn out Chevy Astro with 200k. It got around 15 MPG, and was about to give up the ghost. I still can't believe that our President gave me $4,500 for it, and the dealer had 2k more in rebates! $6,500 right off the top is nice!

I noticed you are in Destin. I grew up in Pensacola, and lived there until my mid-twenties. I still have a couple of houses and some farmland near ya.
