but when i was pulling my trim out to paint for the 2nd or third time, one of the little metal clip thingys broke =( and i watched a video on how to remove it and mine was never that easy lol, so any tips on how to not break anymore?

ah, okay, and just checking but you need krylon (the one that says "bonds to plastic" on the can) spraypaint to paint the trim dont you? because i repainted a couple of pieces of trim with regular spraypaint and some gloss but it came out like a brighter color than the cap and i let it dry overnight and it still just kinda rubs off =/ before it was painted and it chipped (which is why i had to repaint) but it was still really shiny and vibrant red, now its kinda dull and a brighter not-so-vibrant red.

Yeah use anythign that says bonds to plastic. If you use something thats make strictly for metal surfaces... Prolly wont dry right and you will have to do it all over again. Make sure you clearcoat it afterwards.
