i bought a new cobra radar because i wanted a new one from the cobra i had
and this one is the top of the line cobra one the xrs 9950 and i wanted to hard wire it so it looks nice

im going to buy the hardwire cable from cobras website but i need help on where to hide the wires
ive read threads on css.net and they said drivers pillar and all that and than run it to the shifter or something

does anyone have a detailed diy with pics or anything?

i'd personally put the cobra on top of the dash as close to the window as possible run the wires down the defrost vent to were ever you are going to wire it to. now if this cobra doesn't need to be in line of site then put it in the pocket on the right hand side of the steering wheel and tuck all the wires behind the steering column...

just my .02c

well its the XRS 9950 and its pretty big since it has the screen
but best spot i found for it is in the bottom left of my dash right by were my registration and inspection sticker goes

i ordered the cobra hardwire kit but i myself don't know how to do it
but i know a few people who can do it for me

yah im better off with the hardwire kit because its 10 feet of cable and the coiled cable that came with it isn't best for hiding it lol
