What size is your amp and sub?

Subs can be taking to much power from the amp which causes lights to dim

Normal,normal, normal at idle because you're not getting any assist from your alternator at low RPM. Try and see if they still dim at 100 mph.

not a big deal....amp is just pulling more power than the car is providing at idle

capacitors work to a point, but a second battery is a better solution, from my experience

of course, a combination of both is the best solution... :)

if it's only happening at idle, I wouldn't even worry about it, the battery should have plenty of juice stored up to make up for what the amp is demanding
