I tried to jumpstart my f150 (with my cobalt) turns out Ford had a bad battery. Next day u try to turn on the car won't start, checked fuses and fuel pump fuse was fine but wasn't getting power. Turns out I have a Cali emission cobalt and the fuel pump is in my tank... Took the tank off and drained the fuel, the wire going to the pump was friend and broke off immediately. I ordered the new correct pump but can't get the old one out. Anyone have any idea how to get the internal gas tank fuel pump out? Also anyone have a part # for the wiring harness? Doesn't seem to want to come out of the lock ring top so I assume I'll have to strip and shrink wrap a new wire but I need the piece that connects to the pump since mine is fried... Too bad it didn't blow up so I could've collected insurance money! Thanks for the help peeps
