.... If you get in a wreck because your suspension went bad I don't see how you will be able to put the stock springs back in before it's brought to the shop..

Eibach. They're the only company I would ever use to lower my car. Unless you have a spring compressor then your brother won't be able to do the front. It you bottom out on a large bump and bend/break anything then it will not be covered by warranty, of course if you did that with stock springs it wouldn't be covered anyhow (driver error). Now if you develop other scrapes/noises you are SOL.

It most certainly can, especially with improper/inexperienced installation. You wouldn't believe how some of the most insignificant NVH can be transferred through the car.
