How you all doing? My name is sean and just picked up a 2005 ls. having some issues with the right head light though. The parking light doesn't work and I believe it is the socket. The bulb works on the other side and the socket is quite rusty. The signal works though but either way I am looking for help on the socket for this 3157 bulb that is the signal and parking light. If anyone knows where I can get it or what exactly it is that would sure be a great help. thanks yall and god bless
if it is indeed the socket that is bad, you can purchase a new one from a GM dealer with a pigtail wire and you have to splice it in. It's a very easy job to do if you know wiring basics. or you might be able to get one from a junk yard as well.
Welcome! Do you have condensation in that headlight too? If there is, it could have corroded the socket. So, if you replace the socket you might want to think about re-sealing the headlight so it doesn’t happen again .
