If you want to get the most benefit from HID lighting and not blind people, do a projector retrofit. Just sticking HIDs in your lights that are designed for halogen is gonna create excessive glare and excessive foreground light, making it harder for you to see in the distance. The best aftermarket ballasts is gonna be the Morimoto brand from The Retrofit Source. BuyHIDs is supposed to be reliable also and their bi-xenon bulbs "tilt" in the correct position rather than "telescope" in and out like most shitty aftermarket bulbs do. That's if you'd rather stick HIDs in your headlights and call it good. I used to have the DDM tuning bi-xenon kit where the bulbs "telescoped" in and out and they were terrible. I got high beamed and flashed at a lot and the high beam was a joke. All it did was turn a frowning "cutoff" into a smiling cutoff. So even though it lit up the trees on the side of the road, I got no light down the middle. Yeah, stupid design. Retrofit is the way to go if you want HIDs the right way.

I will disagree to a point, Our Bi-Xenons in our OEM lights produce little to no glare and throws light right down the middle of the road. They are designed differently then telescoping bulbs though. We do carry Morimoto brand for less as well. Retrofits are the way to go if you want good light output.

I was looking into the halo type head light assembly. I like the way they look. Will these HID Bulbs fit in with the halo assembly.

Would it still be the size that fits in the stock assembly? or do each aftermarket assembly require different sizes?

Depends on the headlights. Stock cobalt headlights require 9007 sized bulbs. Aftermarket will most likely require something different - I don't remember what my projectors use but highs and lows are separate bulbs whereas they are the in the same bulb on stock headlight.

Are the halo type actually better for vision, or are they moreso just for looks? i really like the look and hope they are practical as well.. Any opinion?
