I’m looking into modding my 06 SS to where when I turn my high beams on the fog lights remain on. I’m not trying to be “that guy” to blind someone coming the opposite direction. But I live in a rural area where street lights are pretty scarce and high beams are a must. But the high beams can only do so much and fogs would help quite a bit when looking out for deer and when very dense fog hits as well. Thank you in advance!

I had wondered the same thing. Im pretty sure there’s a way. But seems like you’d have to get around the BCM. Id think the lighting surely is controlled by the BCM on these cars. There should be a way to modify the system with relays though. That was how to get high and low beams to come on at the same time for various vehicles. I remember seeing kits in the JC Whitney catalogues. It may be a bit more complicated on the Cobalt though. But I’m pretty sure it can be done by hacking the fuse box with some additional relays.
