Hey everybody...

2008 G5 GT. Left (dash mounted above A/C controls) heated seat rocker switch must be defective. Switch works fine as seats heat on both low and high, but the built in amber hi-low indicator lights inside the switch quit working. I found a video as to how to remove the dash trim and the factory replacement switch is fairly reasonable, but how about replacing the switch? Difficult? Bolt in? Snap in? Anyone done this? Tips?
Any help appreciated!!

Thanks,,,

Should just be clipped in. Hardest part is probably just taking off the shadowgrid trim bezels from around the radio and to the immediate ones to the sides.

You were right... replaced it tonite.. 1) Un-snap upper right side, lower knee panel to gain access to the above small trim piece to the right of steering column. 2) You just have to loosen it, not remove it. 3) Unsnap right upper trim above glove box to the left closest to the center. 4) Loosen, does not require removal either. 5) Unsnap center radio/ HVAC trim piece. 6) Seat heater switches unsnap into back of radio trim piece. Reverse to re-install..!!

Simple to do, but you know that tense feeling you get pulling on those plastic pieces.. especially the tight ones that have never been off before!
