Long story short, i need to uninstall my xm radio.
had it professionally put in, now i want it out due to lack of use.
The same place that installed it, is wanting $50 to take it back out. Shoooot.
You know dang well i dont want to pay to have it uninstalled.
I don't really know much about XM, but Can you physically see from the outside f the car that it is attacked to your antenna? If not then you have no issues. You can still replace the antenna
Well its not as easy as just getting it off another car.. I got my honda element antenna from a honga dealership. The problem with it though, is that our base has a male tip and the element antenna is a male antenna. So they wouldn't work together. I basically had to give the antenna a sex change lol. I cut off the tip, then drilled and tapped it to the correct size. But as I'm sure you saw in the other thread, It looks like it came like that stock!
