Long story, but replaced the steering column a while back, but the problem turned out to be the rack and pinion. Put that in and steering was fine. Reinstalled the old steering column today, popped the old lock cylinder out of the replacement steering column, popped it in the original one, and now the key won't turn. Steering wheel is locked into position, tried both keys, and the lock cylinder won't turn. Is there any way to remove the lock cylinder without turning the key into the "on" position ?
